British Shorthair Kittens in New York
Personal In-Cabin Flight to New York (USA) by the Breeder’s Son
“Your country (New York (USA)) is quite far from our cattery in Germany, yet distance is no problem at all. Because we could never entrust an extra-class purebred kitten to strangers, third-party couriers, or cargo holds, you do not need to worry for a single moment: one of my sons will personally fly to you and bring your little plush companion in the aircraft cabin (In-Cabin) directly into your hands — complete with all official veterinary export certificates, passport, and pedigree.”
100% In-Cabin Flight (Zero Cargo Hold)
Never placed in luggage or cargo compartments. Your kitten flies right next to my son in the passenger cabin — warm, calm, and comforted every minute of the flight.
No Strangers or Third-Party Couriers
We never hand our kittens over to commercial shipping agents. Accompanied exclusively by my son, whom the kitten knows and trusts from birth.

New York is one of the strongest markets for the British Shorthair in the United States, where the breed's dignified, low-maintenance nature is a natural fit for busy city apartments and quieter homes upstate alike. Whether you are in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Long Island, or the Hudson Valley, knowing the going rates helps you recognise a responsible breeder from an opportunistic one.
Typical Price Ranges in USD
In the New York market, British Shorthair kittens from a reputable, health-testing breeder generally range from $2,800 to $4,800 for pet-quality kittens. This typically includes age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipping, deworming, and a written Official FIFe/WCF pedigree & veterinary health protocol.
Show-quality kittens and those with breeding rights begin around $5,500 and can exceed $7,500, reflecting pedigree, colour, and conformation. Rare colours — cinnamon, chocolate, golden, and silver — sit at the top of the range.
Why Prices Vary
- Health screening. Conscientious breeders DNA-test for HCM and PKD. These results should be available on request.
- Pedigree and registration. FIFe and WCF registered lines with full documentation justify higher prices.
- Demand and waitlists. Popular colours in the New York area often carry a waitlist, especially for kittens with blue or odd eyes.
